Q. What is Yarn Lipao Bag?
A. Yanlipao bag is a traditional Thai craft made from a woven bag made from a climbing plant called Yanlipao. Please see the ABOUT page for more details.

Q. Do you have any physical stores? I'd like to see the real thing.
A. We are very sorry. Basically, we only sell through our web shop, but we occasionally hold pop-up shops in Tokyo and the Kansai area.
Event information will be announced on Instagram and Webshop .

Q. What payment methods do you accept?
A. Payment can be made by bank transfer (Japan Post Bank, Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation) or credit card.

Q. How much is the shipping fee?
A. The fee is 1,050 yen nationwide. For overseas shipping, please contact us using the inquiry form .

Q. I would like to purchase a bag that is sold out. Is it possible?
A. We are very sorry. Since each Yarn Lipao bag is handmade and each item is individually made, we are unable to provide exactly the same item as the one that is sold out.
However, it is possible to find a bag with a similar shape or feel, or a bag that better suits your tastes. Please contact us via the inquiry form .

Q. I have a vintage Yarn Lipao bag that I inherited from my family. Can this be repaired too?
A. There will be a charge, but we will repair it. First of all, please contact us using the inquiry form .

How to care

The Yarn Lipao bags available at Soeru come in two types: the hard type , which is woven from material made by hollowing out the stems of the Yan Lipao vine, and the soft type , which is made from the leaves of the Yan Lipao vine. Yes.
Maintenance methods differ depending on the type, so please check the following and perform regular maintenance.

Q. Are there any precautions I should take when handling it?
A. Do not expose to direct sunlight or rain for long periods of time. If it gets wet, wipe it dry with a towel etc.

Q. Dust has adhered to the main unit. Please tell me what to do.
A. Gently wipe with a clean damp cloth and let dry for 20-30 minutes.

Q. Do I need to clean the handle?
A. Please wipe the handle with a towel after use to prevent discoloration.

Storage method

Yarn Lipao bags are made of delicate materials.
Do not place anything on top of the bag when storing. This may cause deformation.
Also, please store it in a cloth bag and avoid direct sunlight, high temperatures, high humidity, and extremely dry places.

About repairs

Yarn Lipao bags are made from plants, so if they are left in a place that is subject to changes such as high temperatures, high humidity, or extremely dry conditions for a long time, or if they are dropped or subjected to a strong impact, some parts may crack. However, it can be repaired by Thai craftsmen.
If it breaks, we would be happy if you could send it in for repair and use it for many years to come.
